Best Browser

Hello. I've been using MYIE2 for my internet browser for over a year now and it works very well. However, it does have many features that i will never use that probably slow it down a small amount. I was wondering what browser everone here at MG chooses. I've heard great stuff about Mozilla, FireFox, Avant and some other less popular ones. I think I'll try firefox because i've heard it is very quick and has good basic features.

Anyways I'm just curoius to see what all the cool MG's use for browsing .

Me myself use IE6. would like to be brave enuff to try something different. But my motto is stick to what i'm happy with.

 

Ive got MYIE2 and IE6 covers everything i need

 

opera, exclusively.

 

On my main rig, primarily Mozilla Firebird. Unless there is some unsupported plugin then i fire up IE6.

 

The latest Mozilla nitely build ID-2004040712 whoops now ID-2004041009 with some tweaks and touchups of course.

 

I use MyIE2 . I have IE6,, never use it. Also have FIrebird, Mozilla, etc. Never use them either.

 

Slim Browser latest version. Good pop up blocker. Tabbed. Erase all cookies and history button. Consistant, no probs. Not very spectacular or tricked out but it works for me.

 

I have IE6 and Avant...I prefer Avant because it works well on my machine plus it has some handy tools.

im gonna try avant and see how it compares to MYIE2. i enjoy expermenting with them.

 

Perfect choices. I have tried them all. I stick with this two here too.

and thus the reason why I stick with the one that will work on any website and with any content IE6 and opera

 

There are a few on my computer, but I like Opera, but my girl friend uses netscape, after a hold over from olden days of using aol. One daughter likes an early version of IE, and asked me to keep it, and she has to put up with the popups telling her to up date. And my own daughter uses whatever I load, ie6, or netscape?.wobbles

 

I'm an Opera fan. I've gotten addicted to the "mouse gestures" that you can use to browse. It's so much easier than moving the mouse all the way up to the top bar.

I still have IE6 as my default browser in Windows, though. When I'm buying things online I like to use it because I know that the site I'm at has, most likey, been tested with it. There's no point in risking an error in the transaction and having to deal with getting an erroneous charge taken off your bill.
