Whether you have a DVD burner or not, I would still suggest you buy a CDRW.

No DVD burner can copy CD's as good as a dedicated CD burner.

LiteOn's are excellent, cheap and reliable.

The only criticism is some models can be loud, and the drive tray can appear flimsy, but that's being picky and it no way detracts from their excellent performance.

ASUS, Plextor Premium (expensive) and LG are also very good.

Thanks for the reply D3m3t3d and Insomniac. I have never had anything but liteon and plextor. Always had good service from both that's why I specifically mentioned those units. It has been awhile since I have read anything abought either. I thought they may be a newer and better model that I am not familiar with. I have no need for a dvd writer only cd-rw. But I am open minded and will consider all.
