    Hi
I was wondering what the best software for playing FLAC in Windows Media Player is.
I am currently using K-Lite and WMP Tag Plus,is that the best setup?:confused

As long as your codec pack plays all the types of files you want in WMP, you are good to go. I don't believe there is any difference in the actual codecs between packs. It is just a matter of how they are installed and managed.

Since switching to Win7 a couple of years ago, I went with Shark007's pack, mostly because K-Lite was not quite ready for Win7 at its initial release. Now, I am sure K-lite is fine with Win7 as I see many people using it.

If you want to try a different player for your FLAC, I have to say for purely music I like foobar but I don't listen to enough music on computer to say if there is really any difference in quality.

Thank you for the heads up on foobar release, didn't see it on the front page. VLC (1.1.9) and Foobar handle most of my needs, haven't been using codec packs as of late...
