Best coolent to buy?

    What is a good coolent to buy.. one that possibly is anti algae? :)

    you use that instead of water in 'water' cooled rig?:eek: that's insane ... isn;t stuff supposed to be for cars?

    i use a 1:9 ratio of zerex supercoolant and distilled water. it is used in cars, but i use it as an oxidation inhibitor, biocide (seriously, so don't drink it), and surfactant, plus more that i probably forgot. it works, that's all i care

    car radiators are just the same as computer radiators... most car coolant additives will work just fine. Oh and anti-freeze while it does kill bacteria, its main purpose is to stop pre-filled watercooling kits freezing in transit. A real radiator additive does a much better job.
