Best CPU app for AMD 64 Turion?

    Hi everybody,

    sorry if I was supposed to post this in the overclocking forum or whatever...I'm not interested in overclocking I'm just wondering what's the best app for monitoring the CPU's frequency and for manually setting the frequency to its maximum capability. Sometimes when I plug in my laptop after being on the battery the processor will stay at half performance so I'd like to be able to set it myself.

    Apparently AMD themselves has some apps but all I can tell is that they can show the current frequency in the system tray which is nice but I'd like to know if they give any control over the processor itself.

    This is the app I use on my Laptop with AMD64 cpu, works extremely well for resetting the CPU to full power when mains is plugged in a and adapting the power when on batteries
