Best External USB HD?

Lady's and germs! I need your opinions! I'm looking for an external USB HD enclosure w/ no HD and or an enclosure w/ HD included. I'm looking at two particular models:

Vantec NextStar 3

and

Lacie - not sure what model yet. I've heard the name come up a lot, don't know if its because its good or because its affordable.

Ultimately I'll need a 250Gb HD in it whether it comes w/ it or I have to buy it separately. Are the ones I mentioned above good, do you know of a good one? I eagerly await and appreciate your thoughts.

As far as hard drives them selves go...I tend to stick with Western Digital and/or Maxtor.

And hard drive enclosures...it just depends on the budget and the features wanted.
