best firewall?

    ok, i have a brand new problem, zonealarm doesnt work with McAfee Enterprise 8 any suggestions for the best firewall, im told windows firewall is pretty good but.. im skeptical

    yeah! I second that query - is use norton internet security plus but it chews up memory like nothing else when it is running

    The windows built in Firewall is only a incomming block it will not block anything already on your PC from contacting the outside world. An effective firewall should block both incomming and out going data.

    One that is older but free is Outpost ( Free ) and with a try.

    I personally use zone alarm just because its free and easy to use, plus it doesnt eat up all my memory.
