Best Free Reistry Cleaner(s) In Your Opinion?

I have CCleaner on my computer which has a registry cleaner and seems to work well and reviews on it are good. I know there is a lot of debate/controversy on the value or registry cleaners. There are a lot of them out there. Just not sure if I should put another one on. Looking for opinions on this and recommendations for registry cleaners you would recommend, Thanks.

 

CCleaner is the only one I use and it's the one recommended most often by other Forum posters. Left at it's default settings, it's also the safest.

However, there are also posters that say "cleaning" the registry can lead to more problems than are solved. As long as you're NOT having issues, leave the registry alone.

 

I agree with mdonah, CCleaner is your safest way to go. Also, those leftover registry keys are harmless. They don't slowdown or interfere with anything or any work you do on your computer. They have zero impact on your computer performance. It's best to have a few empty leftover harmless keys in the registry, than removing the wrong one and having to do a complete reinstall of your system.

 

CCleaner is safe enough and you should not employ more than one on your system (Tongue in cheek... you also need s spell checker, see your subject title)
