Best MP3 Player

Yep, another poll to see which is the most popular. Things change ya know..

 

i use winamp 2 when i'm sitting at the computer and can manually switch songs in my playlist (mp3 library)... but when i have people over i run winamp 3 and utilize it's "enqueue" feature which lets you right click songs in your playlist and you can play songs in any order from doing that...

i recommend both... they are visually appealing and very easy to use.... if you download either don't forget to change the equalizer settings because the default is quite crappy sounding.... i recommend the "rock"setting for both alternative music and anything with bass (rap/hiphop)

I just stick with old WMP. tired of keep trying new virsions of this and that.

 

Personally i like Winamp 2.x and ive been running it for a long long time. Never had any (major) problems with it, and its resource friendly!

Some people dont like the fact that Nullsoft is now owned by AOL, but all this seems to have done to the software is added a "AOL icon on install" checkbox, and the fact they use it in the AOL browser for streaming.

I hate WMP, cuz its resource hungry (not so much with visulisations off though) and is ugly and, well, microsoft!

 

winamp 3 is also a resource hog but i love it's "enqueue" feature as i was talking about above

 

I have finally come to the conclusion that WMP sucks. I dual boot XP and Linux Mandrake. XMMS is by better by far. If I just want to listen to music, I will boot Linux. That simple.
