Best new ram?

I am begining to want to upgrade everything, well when i have the money, but just out of couriosity sake whats the best ram out there now. I havent kept up for a while. Im running 2 gigs of Mushkin black line PC3200 LII V2 ddr400 at 2-2-2-5 2.75v.

DDR2 is THE new thing lol but unless you wanna upgrade your mob then id grab some high rated ddr and overclock it. This is the fastest DDR i could find: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231015

ive had good experience OCing Crucial Ballistix (pc3200 @ pc4200 2.5-3-3-6 2.85v)
i can only imagine how their pc4000 does in OC world...

2 gigs of PC3200 should perform great with just about any software you care to run (we would have to know the rest of your system specs and the types of tasks you want to run on your system to evaluate properly).
ie...gaming, video editing etc.

Maybe you need to look at upgrading processing, video, power supply etc

Nite: oh when i upgrade i already know what to look for in mobo, cpu, and vid card. just wondering about the ram. Viper: yeah that looks pretty nice but damn on the $$ would be nice.

im running agp and a 939 right now so when I get enough to spend I shall be buying everything (pci-e am2) but a hd. ugh. I just dont know what the faster clock speeds and the slower timings (cas, ras, etc) mean. mostly a hobbiest and just want some enthusiasts opinions I guess on the whats out there. And somthing to do while I wait to save enough money for my nerdness.
