Best Notebook Cooling System

Hi, just recently got a laptop computer, and this thing gets hot as #@# really quick when I try to play games on it. It's a thin, Pentium Mobile chip, so the fan on it isn't exactly great.

I was thinking about trying one of those laptop cooling pads with the fans. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Which would you recommend I get? I assume the higher the cubic feet per minute the better. Do they really work that well? Is there something better out by now?
