I have a tremendous MESS on my hands. I seriously need to be able to locate all the software on my system and get rid of everything I don't need.
I need the best possible program to do this with. Lots of junk, most of which I can't even get to show up on the uninstall program list, including the System Suite Professional 8.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I use Absolute Uninstaller. Way better than Windows Add/Remove. It even removes the keys from the Registry put there bu\y the program being removed.

    Thank You.
I am fighting like mad to get some of my apps uninstalled, one of which is Avanquest System Suite 8, which is driving me mad. Can't get any uninstaller to even acknowledge that it is on my computer.

Does it have its own uninstaller?
Go to Start, All Programs. Find it and scroll over the name and see if anything shows on the right.
You could try just deleting it from your C drive or the Programs folder on C.

I use Revo Uninstaller myself. One feature I like is that it can create a system restore point before doing the uninstall so if -- "oops, I killed my drivers!" you can revert.

Thats a pretty grey area for us to decipher, I mean what is a major mess?

1 long but entirely do-able scenario is to contact "whoever quest" and explain to them that you would like instructions on how to delete the program. My backward method is to delete it all from the registry BUT I happen to know a bit about the registry and I wouldnt reccomend it if your not totally comfy with the registry. Its an ABSOLUTE fix every time.

    I agree. Really gray.
Well, for now, the mess that is top priority is getting my system to recognize all of the software which is on it, which it will not do. I have no uninstaller for the avanquest software and I can't get Vista to even realizer it is on the system.

Revo Uninstaller will remove programs even if their built in uninstaller is broken or missing. And the full version is FREE.

In your other thread is the link you wanted for the Absolute Uninstaller.
