best ram for k8max3 amd64 3400+

I have a abit mobo K8 max3, amd 64 3400+ and I would like to purchase new ram. Should I buy two 512 sticks or a 1meg stick, and should I get registered ram 3200 or go with the 3500. I get a different answer from each ram co. I talk to....

 

The Athlon you'll be getting doesn't have DualChannel so the difference between getting 1 stick or 2 sticks will be minimal, thus I'd go with 1 stick of 1GB RAM.
You'll want to get at least PC3200 rated ram, such as Corsair XMS3200, if you're going to overclock you'll want to get some nice PC3700, such as Corsair XMS3700.
Other good memory brands next to Corsair are:
Kingston (their HyperX line is very good)
GeIL
and OCZ, however I'd get Kingston, GeIL or Corsair over OCZ any day.
