Best software for video tutorials?

I want to start doing some tutorials for an e newsletter and show some screen captures of Firefox etc. What is the best software to use? Free would be great but Cam Studio seems to have a lot of limitations and seems buggy. I don’t want to pay for Captivate 5 or go on that learning curve.
What are most people using to do Ytube tutorials?

I use Debut Video Capture. It is freeware. Easy to learn. Allows you to start, pause, and restart.

Wink (Free) is nice for interactive demos, you can add next buttons and annotations, check it out at http://www.debugmode.com/wink/

    Online there is Jing http://www.techsmith.com/jing/

SnagIt will set you back $50

    WonderShare Demo Creator is $99

I've used all these except for Jing, It is up to you to decide what fits.
