I need some program suggestions that clear computer space, and clean your computer thoroughly. Any idea's? I currently use

    CCleaner
    Disk Defragmenter
    Spybot Search & Destroy
    MalwareBytes

    Thanks a lot!

These are my "Top Ten" freeware favorites (in no particular order):

    Glary Utilities: http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5870

    Index.dat Analyzer: http://majorgeeks.com/Index.dat_Analyzer_d5259.html

    MRU-Blaster: http://majorgeeks.com/MRU-Blaster_d4184.html

    Disk Cleaner 1.8.1795: http://majorgeeks.com/Disk_Cleaner_d863.html

    Wipe 2011.14: http://majorgeeks.com/Wipe_d5961.html

Eusing Free Registry Cleaner 2.8: http://majorgeeks.com/Eusing_Free_Registry_Cleaner_d5827.html

Eusing Free Internet Window Washer 2.9: http://majorgeeks.com/Eusing_Free_Internet_Window_Washer_d5685.html

    Eusing Cleaner 2.0: http://majorgeeks.com/Eusing_Cleaner_d7101.html

Eusing Free Registry Defrag 1.8: http://majorgeeks.com/Eusing_Free_Registry_Defrag_d6132.html

    IObit SmartDefrag v2: http://majorgeeks.com/IObit_SmartDefrag_v2_Beta_3.0_d6672.html

Additionally, a long listing of these types of "Drive Cleaners" (shareware as well as freeware) are available here at Major Geeks.

For any newbies reading this, my advice would be to go with CCleaner for general disk cleaning and registry cleaning as well as IObit SmartDefrag v2 as a defragmentation tool because in my opinion, these two one of the safest to use.

    Good Luck!

MRU-Blaster? You've got to be kidding. Was a good program in its day, but its database is over 8 years old!

I'd also consider Advanced System Care 4, available for free in the downloads section. Although CCleaner is good, I've found that ASC 4's registry cleaning tool is less likely to "over clean" the registry (resulting in startup or Windows repair issues).

    Hope this helps. :)
