Best thing for stopping smap emails?

Hi all,

The title is supposed to say SPAM....it's early and i typed in a rush...and can't edit titles in the edit feature.

My girlfriends email is awash with spam emails, we are talking about a couple of thousand. Is there a way of stopping this happening? It is not ideal just to limit incoming emails to only her contacts, as she gets contacted by strangers a lot (sounds dodgy doesn't i lol) due to craft workshops that she runs.

It's the spam that she doesn't want. Is there something in the settings she can do, or does she require something else?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Your girlfriend might have to open a new email address, after following the advice in the booklet and just abandon the old one, after informing all the people in her address book about the change of address.
