Best way to Defrag with Disktrix

  1. I have Disktrix Ultimate Defragmenter and it seems ok. It lets me place files where ever I want the it runs. Right now I have most all of them closest to the edge. Is that ok or should I move them to the center of the disk?Does the HD read from the inside out ot outside in?

  2. I know this is old but Wha is the BEST WAY to place file on a disk? Closer to the center? Or on the outside edge?

  3. I'm going to take it that it don't matter how I run Disktrix?

    Hi

I use disktrix Ultimate defrag..i like it indeed.

place your files on the outer edge of the disc for quicker access at least the windows and commonly used apps and files, although I typically use the defrag fragmented files only for the speed factor of the defrags operation.

The closer you get to the center the slower the access time is.
