    Hi...

I have Comcast Xfinity Internet (25mbs DS/5mbs US) and Digital TV.... Currently the cable comes into our basement where it is split evenly 2x -3.5dB (model Extreme BDS 102H 5-1000MHZ), with one cable going to level 1 and a standard TV, the other cable going up to level 2. There it is again split (same device) to an HD TV and a wireless/modem/router. Is this the best setup? The HD TV sometimes loses the picture, and the modem sometimes drops its signal for short periods. Is this a function of the splitter set-up, the cable, or Comcast? I also have a 3-way splitter available, with 2 out-ports at -7dB and the 3rd at -3.5dB. Should I use the 3-way and, if so, which cable should go where? Should I get a 3-way splitter with even splits? Plz bear in mind, I am not uber-technical and/or comfortable with these numbers/terms... ;-)

    Thnx in advance!!
