After downloading the new program listed on MG called "Windows Messenger Remover" I noticed a new folder in my windows xp program folder named "give4free". It contained 3 files and had the hidden file attribute. Spybot S&D recognized it as a BHO and deleted it when asked to. After removing all traces, I rebooted and found no further trace of the "nasty". Then just for fun I reinstalled the new "Windows Messenger Remover" and sure enough...there it was again. Please note that using the uninstaller does not remove the nasty folder or the registered BHO. Beware!

I pulled it for now to be safe. Heres the 2 odd things.

Give4free turns up no results in Google.
    Ad-Aware finds nothing....

    Odd one.

Spybot did not recognize it when I scanned but it did list it as a BHO in the tools section.

I just dont know that it is spyware, beyond I dont recall a warning about it installing. I cant figure out what it does, but not sweating it, there are other free removal tools for that, so not worth leaving it up. Thanks.

Nope...never saw that agreement. Where did you find it? It was not included in the referred software program I downloaded.

I can't even find it via Google :)

It is no big deal. I am free from it. I just wanted to alert others.

When you first start to install, the EULA pops up first, scroll down and you'll see the text. You have to agree to it before you can continue. Most people don't read them.
