BF1942 Desert Combat Map Lag

For some reason, dc_al_khafji_docks lags my computer in intervals. for example, my computer will freeze/lockup for about 9 seconds every five minutes. Anyone else have this problem? Its only this map that does it.

 

Multiplayer or Single player? Have you updated to latest patch? I think they are at .7, I'd try uninstalling DC. Make sure all patches and drivers are updated. Then install DC again. Otherthan that I have not experienced anything like that in that map.
Is the problem only with dc_al_khafji_docks?

 

I'm sorry, yes multiplayer. I have all the correct patches, newest video and sound drivers, etc. That is the only map that does it.

1 gig PC3200 RAM
2 x 80gig HDD
SB Audigy 2 ZS
Ti 4600


The HDD light does not come on when the game freezes.

No Beta drivers.

Nothing overclocked.

can anyone help me? every once and a while on every map for single player and multiplayer the ground disappears and it bugs the crap out of me how can i fix that? thanks
