BF2142=very tempremental!!!

Ok so ive been playing BF2142 for a little while now and for the first week or so it would load fast and run perfectly fine. Now all of a sudden it takes FOREVER to load, in-game it gets all choppy (not an FPS problem either) My first guess is that its a problem with my RAM. Yes, its overclocked but even going back to stock speeds and relaxed timings it still acts funky. I dropped my CPU OC by 100 mhz, underclocked my memory, reoverclocked my memory, messed with the timings and voltages, and ive gotten it to stabilize qhite a bit but there is definitely still a problem going on. Ive defragged, virus/spyware scans...I have yet to run memtest but ill see what ya guys have to offer until i go doing that. I havent done it yet cause my floppy drive kicked the bucket and i havent gotten around to burning it to a CD.
