big OOPS! XP home and Pro problem

I have a big problem, and I don't want to make it worse until I get some feedback. I upgraded to Vista and I hated it! I tried to go back to XP with the XP PRO disk I had and then tried to input the product key off the side of my tower. It would not work. Then I realized the computer I put it on had XP home, and therefore an XP home product key. I can not use the XP professional product key a second time. I would just go back to home, but no disk!

 

Unfortunately, it looks like your only option is another XP disc, same service pack, from a freind, or, cheap disc only from somewhere like ebay.
Otherwise ,if moneys tight, time to try a free os like linux.
Put Vista back on - its better , once you get used to it - the upgrade disc will fresh instal Vista for you - format it first.
