Big Pause In Starting Up Windows XP

Comp Spec:
asus crosshair
amd 64 x2 4600+
western digital raptor x 150gb
2 gb corsair ram xms

my computer boot fine it just that i have a this long black screen pause between the windows logo screen and the blue windows screen. the logo screen bar dont even move but rite after that it comes to a black screen and sit there for 10~20 sec then it load up the blue window screen. i try to run bootvis and optimize it still give me the same problem.

What kind of sound card do you have ???

I remember a friend having the same problem i uninstall the microsoft driver for it sound cards and put the one on the CD that come with the cards and that fix the problem.

Do you have a sound blaster ???
