Big Problem!!!! Help!!!!

Hi! I am having a serious problem! i am on my moms computer right not but i really need mine back so i hope someone can help me! when i turn on my computer a screen comes up that says "insert BOOT diskette in A" if i hit delete and tab enough times i can bring up a blue screen that says AMIBIOS but that is all it will do!!! does anyone have any suggestions? :cry

 

Make sure there is not a floppy disk in the floppy drive. If that is not the case, have you made any changes hardware wise recently?

how do i reboot from the bios?:confused

 

Well, if you have made no changes, I would suspect the hard drive has died or has issues.

Usually if you hit F10 and save or not save BIOS settings, it will reboot.

Also, in your BIOS, make sure the hard drive is set up in the boot order.

Common BIOS boot order:

CD-HD
FDD-CD-HD
HD-CD
