    Hi Everyone,

I Ran Remove it pro V4-se and it told me I had 3 viruses
    Sys32.wmpns
Sys32.wmpns.dll and the same in windows media player
After I hit the fix button a window came up and said changes had been made to windows files had been replaced that cannot be recognized.
Put in windows service pack 3 cd.
    I dion't have a cd so i thought i would do a system restore.
Well it comes up a blank screen so so i went to search to try and find it and it says a file needed for search cannot be found.
When i try to go to help and support nothing at all happens.
I am afraid to shut the comp down for fear it won't come back on.

This is on a Dell Demensios 3000
    XP Pro

    Can anyone please HELP!

    Thank you ain advance,
    Dan

You should start by getting your computer clean of malware and solve the other problems afterwards.

I cannot get in normal startup mode without a reboot I have done all normal cleaning procedures this morning including ccleaner. I am afraid if I try a reboot the comp will not come back up.
    Please any ideas welcome.

    Thanks,
    Dan

Do you have another computer you can use to get online if this one fails to boot?
Do you have an original windows CD for the computer that can be used for a repair install?

    Hello Mark Trent,
I never believed my problem was a maleware issue. After cleaning with Remove it pro V4-se it made some regisrty changes that windows could not recognize.. Which would not let get into certian programs like system restore and search. which made me afraid to shut down the comp. for fear of it not come back up. In any case I found an article that got me into the system volume folder and then into system restore.
    Problem fixed.
Thank you all for the help,

    Dan
