BIG problem

Alright, i have wireless internet through linksys. sometimes, more often then not, while im in the middle of a game on xbox i get kicked out, lagged out, server disconnects etc. thennn i sign right back into the same game. ive tried connecting the xbox to the laptop, ive tried running an ethernet cord into the router where the internet line connects... ive also looked all over the internet for solutions or help and i cant find much. anyone have ANY idea?

 

Are you sharing the internet conecction with other devices or computers and that devices or computer are in use mean you're playing?

 

Yes, sometimes, but even when i disconnect all the computers connected to the internet it still likes to do that.

 

Using a desktop / other device you get disconnected from internet or is just only with th XBOX?

 

Only xbox.

 

Well that's resume a lot of problems, your modem works fine, i don't think is any cord cable falling but you could test it.

Now you will have to check the XBOX Network config, i don't have XBOX, but try to see if there's any option that you can change about network conecction.

If you could copy the network config here we can check together.

I have the same trouble with my xbox. I have found that it is a bandwidth issue. And I have also found that by setting up port forwarding on my router for my xbox to use, I have seen a huge increase in performance
