just needed to say thank you for all the help.
for me, looking at past posts i have been able to fix some problems with my computer. I have also been able to find problems that i did not know i had.
for newbies like myself. look around you might not have to ask a question to get the answer you are looking for , and if not, ask.

This is why I get annoyed when peopel don't post the resolutions to their problems!!

All that means that if some poor sod who has the same problem as them does a google... they come up with a thread with some advice, but no proof that it actually worked or not..!

my post was need big time help and i was able to reformate my h.d.
another one you helped me with it along with KODO. that was mozilla firefox.
remember you were a newbie at one time in your life too
there was also advise in my post which ment NOT to jump the gun and ask a question with out looking first. This way we will NOT get barked at by the pros..

I was trying to re-enforce your post... and also say that to make the forums a better resource, you need to keep a log of the problems you post, so that people who do use the search can find the resolutions (like you did). I think its great that you've used the forums as a resource, and failing that you started your own thread, which is the right thing to do!
