I really need help with this, si id apriciate every help!
Im not very good with all this computer things, so I really screwed up I'm afraid..
My computer was acting weird since a few days (constantly freezing when I was on the internet, running slow, enz, even after I ran anti virus scans, anti spyware scans and defragentation and cleared the cach and deleted temp files and everything)
so I decided to repair windows, cause I didn't want to reinstall it completly cause I didn't felt like losing my programs..
Well ok, everything went fine, I puted the cd in, and started the repairing. When it was done, I tried to log in, it said I needed to activate my windows. Ok, I did that, but then the problems occured...
Appearently, It didn't want to connect to the internet..! I have a wireless internet connection. There are two computers, this one I'm on right now and mine, wich is upstairs, the modem is downstairs.
Now, it didn't want to activate, because it didn't want to conncet to the internet, now Im freaked out, cause that connection is working I think (we had some problems in the beginning but for more then eight months everything worked just fine..!)
Now I dont know what to do, to get it working, cause I cant start my computer up without activating windows, and that doesn't wprk, so please, does anyone know what I should/could do to fix this??
I'd like to be mailed to azertygrrr@hotmail.com if you want to help, cause I'm putting this on a few boards, and I might forget to cheque one..
    So, thanks everyone.. :)

I use to have a wireless connection with my DSL. The computer which was running wireless was very slow on the internet and I was using DSL.

You on the other hand have a Modem running wireless? Now thats going to be very slow. I just think that is normal. I switched to a Linksys Router and I noticed the speed increase considerably, also it was more stable.

In my experience with viruses and spyware which I have had alot of and very bad ones, I really didn't notice my Internet being slow, just hijacked and going to websites I didn't want to go to, they loaded very quickly though ;) .

So I just think it is your internet provider or Modem causing the problem, you should switch to DSL before going wireless.
    Thats my opinion anyways.
