Bikes (not motorcycles)

I'm looking into buying a new bike. Mostly a trail bike. (Yes, my Harley will come soon).

I'm currently looking at a Gary Fisher supercaliber 29er.

Any suggestions? I currently own a 26" Trek 830, which I bought about 15+ years ago.

BTW, I'm 6'7" 240+ lbs, so I'm looking for something that I can handle, and can handle me.

Just want other opinions, I've been looking at Cannondale, Trek, and Giant (non walmart junk).
