how do you go about opening a bin/cue combo file? I know it has to be burnt to a CD, but how can i go about doing this? Also, is there a way to open these files without using a CD?

Most CD-Writer software (Ex. Nero) is able to take cue/bin cd images and burn them to a cd.

For just viewing the contents of a CD image, then I can recommend Daemon Tools.

You can also use burnatonce (free, see MG home under Backup) to burn the image to a CD.

Daemon tools will let you mount the image as a virtual CD. IsoBuster will let you extract files as per any other kind or archive. WinISO or UltraISO allow you to extract files, or even add them, but you can only save in .ISO format (which is more limited).

If you have Nero, you can use File/Burn Image or Recorder/Burn Image.

Can anyone offer me any suggestions on how to open .bin files from an old (1999) Mac floppy disk? Or, how can I download them onto a CD where I can view them?

    Thanks!

Go to this link and scroll about 3/4 down the page until you find the 'Gemulator.exe' file. Read the description next to it, sounds like it'll do what you want.
