bios help

    i m using asus a8n sli mb with 64 bit os

    i set the deflault setting and the boot to os is slow

    is there any tips to set the bios to boot faster

    i set password in the supervisior and user how to delete these password

    Is it the POST that is slow, or loading the OS that is? These are two completely different issues.

    To set the BIOS to defaults, how did you do it? Jumpers on the board or through the BIOS itself?
    What OS are you running?
    What are the specs on your machine?
    Has it worked properly in the past?

    I'm not sure what you're asking about the passwords. Please clarify.

    Removing BIOS passwords is simple. Typically you go to the function where you set the password and enter nothing.

    i m using 3.2 amd 1gb ram 64 bit os win xp
    my loading to windows is so dragging

    A quick way to remove the bios password is to remove the battery out of the motherboard, wait about 5 mins, then insert it back in.

    Windows xp pro 64 bit edition. How fast does it boot into safemode?
