BIOS + Keyboard Trouble

I just recently got new parts for my computer and hooked it all up myself...i didn't have any problems doing anything but i ran into a very strange problem that even the Geek Squad was stumped on...Whenever i started up it would freeze on the BIOS setup screen and say, "press TAB to continue, DELETE to run setup" and just before it said that, my keyboard would shut off. I tried just about everything i could think of, Changing keyboards, buying a usb keyboard and nothing works...i have a Foxconn 755A01-6EKRS motherboard if that helps. The best thing i could think of is that the ps/2 socket is busted but im not sure anymore. I really don't wanna spend 80 bucks to have it checked out by Geek Squad. if anyone can help, that would be fantastic! Please help!!

 

What new parts did you install?

Have you tried putting all the "old parts" back in?

 

i installed a new Video card(geforce MX 5500), CPU(AMD Sempron 2800+), SATA Hard Drive, Sound Card(Turtle Beach 5.1), DDR Ram(Ultra 512MB PC3200), and new Motherboard(Foxconn)...my old computer doesn't really any compatablility with the new motherboard except i can transfer the video card and hard drive. thats it, i have SDRAM in this one so it doesn't really work with the new mobo. Ill try puting in the old parts but im not sure it will matter too much. sorry for takin so long to reply, i've been busy moving
