Post some info on this PC, Brand/Model & basci specs.

Most likely you'll need to reset the MOBO/reset cmos, then when you try to boot go directly to BIOS & adj setting's to suit your setup.
With some info, I or someone around here could possibly tell you exactly how to reset your mobo, Sometime's is as simple as just removing mobo battery for few minutes, some boards can be done by R & R a jumper or combination of both.
Reseting the mobo should return the BIOS to default settings.

I sure you can download manual for your mobo if you dont have one, should contain instruction for reset.

You shouldnt have any problem downloading driver's for your video card.
You may need to uninstall previous video drivers, what did you have before Onboard video or what?
In BIOS are settings for video, onboard/agp/pci make sure you set corectly.

Use the bios guide, review all your settings. "it's a great guide"

    Asus:

I pulled the battery and I got the video graphics back thanks,, but now I have one more problem, when the system boots it says,

" Warning CPU has been changed or CPU ratio changed fail.
Please re-enter CPU settings in the CMOS setup and remember to save before quit!"

From the settings directory all i see is standard cmos setting which dont have anything to do with the CPU, any thoughts?

Enter BIOS, will be in "Advanced Chipset features"

Do you have manual for your mobo?

When board was reset, so too was Bios setting's, It should now be at default settings, the Default settings are considered safe, not Optimal so your CPU is mostlikely underclocked which wont hurt it only make it slower.

You need to know what setting your cpu runs at, then check bios & adj if necessary.
Dont forget to check all bios settings & adj for best PC performance.

When you bootup you might see, onscreen your cpu speed, it flashes quickly, if you see it you can hit the "Pause Break" key on your keyboard to pause the screen, then just hit enter to continue boot.

What exact model mobo do you have?

    Asus:

The motherboard is called ECS 848P-A socket 478 VT8754 chipset 400/533 mhz..... thats right from my invoice,,,

the wifey and i live apart so i dont know what happened to the manual, when i go to the ecs website they have different versions of the mobo and the stuff they say identifies it on the mobo doesnt match mine....

I really dont know how to run that advanced chipset feature thing

Anyway, you saved me a ton of time with the battery thing,, and it you have any more thoughts i appreciate it.
