BIOS Problem

I have updated my bios and i believe i got the wrong one, so now my computer doesn't work. It turns on loads a little then freezes, i have tried to make a boot disk but the computer won't even get that far to load it. The computer even freezes when i go into the setup utility. I tried pulling the battery that didn't work, i messed with the jumppers a little that didn't work.. so what am i to do? i'm stuck for ideas...

the motherboard is KM400-m2 made by elitegroup. so i don't know.. can anyone help??

 

Well , if in fact it was the wrong one, nothing but bad news. If your bios chip is soldered on the board its junk, if its a removable chip there is some hope, but probally just as cheap to buy a new board. ed

 

Well i flashed the bios, and updated it. So far everything is running ok.. I get a little jumpy when it boots haha but then things go good.. "SO FAR"

 

Yes i flashed with the right bios. Everything is running great so far.. Always remember if you think there is no way out of a problem, don't just jump and buy something new. Work at it untill you fix the problem. 90% of the time things will work out if you just don't give up.
