    Hi All,

I am new here and desperately need some help.

I have just downloaded the file BiosFind from the Bios list hoping to find where I could find an update version of my Bios.

This version of BiosFind could not run on my computer as it was an old version...guess??

I went to my control panel and hit Add/Remove to delete it from my computer and it ran ok for a while then stopped telling me there was aproblem and it had to close.

When I tried again it comes up with a message:-

    could not open logfile C/program files/BIOS FINDER/STSUNST.LOG

I really would appreciate any help as to how I can remove this file from my computer.

    Regards

    Greetings, Pete...

You might try booting into Safe Mode, then uninstalling the program...

Also - what OS/Service Pack #'s are you running, and is BIOSFind causing any problems?

Damn don't ever use a 3rd party up to look at BIOS. During your POST up screen take a quick look at the BIOS version. Then go to the mobo manufacturers website and see if the list any later files.

WARNING do not play around with BIOS installs unless you know "exactly" what you are doing, it is arguably the quickest way to kill a computer.
