Hello all. I'm having an issue with a brand new setup I just put together.
I have a Biostar A780L3G mobo, and the NIC keeps showing in Windows that it is only 100mpbs. Not gigabit.
I've installed the drivers from the CD, got the updated ones from the biostar site, tried different cables, etc. I do have a gigabit router, with 3 other machines getting gigabit speeds.
I can get to the internet, but in a strange twist, I can't get to certain security sites. Such as avast, or comodo.

    Any suggestions?

I did try another port on the router, got the same issue.

I will check that link for drivers. Hopefully they are updated from what I found on the Biostar site. Thanks for the link.

One other thing you might want to look at. Under properties of your NIC card. Click on configure. In the "Advanced" tab under Speed/Duplex make sure that "Auto Negotiation" is checked and not some other speed.
