I reinstalled Bitdefender because Windows 10 notifications said Bitdefender was "snoozing". Once re-insalled, Bitdefender blocks almost every trusted website I visit with a message, "Connection not secure".

(I'm temporarily using Windows Defender (Windows 10) for my antivirus in Bitdefenders place).

How can I fix the connection error with Bitdefender? The computer was working great prior to the new installation. I tried Googling the error, however, they tell me to click on settings that I cannot find within Bitdefender, perhaps those instructions were from a previous version?

Would Windows 10 Defender Antivirus suffice, or is there a simple-to-do fix with Bitdefender?

    Bitdefender Free
    Windows 10
    FireFox 62.0.3

    Thank you!
    :)

This is a little late, but this is what worked for me. Bitdefender Total Security 2019, Windows 8.1, Firefox 64.
Open Bitdefender, click on Protection, then Online Threat Prevention, and untick Encrypted web scan. Bitdefender will thereafter remind you that what you did was unsafe and want you to undo it.
