I downloaded and installed from MG -BitDefender Free Edition 1.0.18 \Pick ??? why?? [ its a piece of crap ]. it has a pester screen that can't be removed, along with the entire program. ive tried to remove it thru control panel but it does not show up there. i tried to delete the files from the program files but it wont allow that either. i tried IOBit uninstaller and it does not show up there, either.

it is on a Dell laptop win 7 sp3

? how can i get it off my computer ?

Download Revo Uninstaller to see if that picks up bitdefender if not then you need bitdefender removal tool to uninstall it.

OK, got it.. friend told me to go into "safe Mode' and then delete the program files.

that worked.
