Bitstream Uploading From My Pc - Malware?

I have a bitstream uploading from my pc according to my ISP. When I look at my LAN traffic status, it shows much more uploaded data than downloaded . . . my ISP (Afrihost) is insisting that this is because of a malware infection, but I have not heard of this before, and searches show no references to this at all.

 

Ummm . . . thanks, Tim, but what I am looking for at this point is an answer to the question: is this a known issue?
