Bittorrent Clients

so, what have you folks used and what do you like.
I tried out Azureus, but I went back to the experimental client as it simply performs better. I really liked the features of axureus better though. So what's the dilly yo?

 

i wasent aware that there were third party cliets to handle torrent files. i just use the normal one, are any of the others any good?

 

the main feature is that they feature adjustable download and upload rates, so you don't kill a network with your bittorrent traffic.

 

I use shareaza ...

I like it because it can swarm files from edonkey, so I have moer sources... also, it doesn't use a lot of memory... o.x... I could barely use my computer with the regular client (512 DDR RAM) and with shareaza, I can play FFXI and download

 

I'll have to look into that. Is it an edonkey client or bittorrent or both?

 

Burst! is really good, give it a try. It features some control options over your speeds which I've heard the official does not. You might enjoy it.

 

Both, it also has gnutella and some magnet in it ^_^, it's the trillian of p2p.

 

Nice. i seem to remember trying it and feeling it was badly coded and the GUI felt a bit, well, clunky! Perhaps its got better by now. If its the same as i remembered it was anything but the stylish, gui based trillian of p2p.

I may give it a try!

Shareaza Rules !

Try Shareaza, I am sure you will like it......its interface is good and like said before, you can connect to all three P2P networks. In fact, I was downloading something using both Shareaza and KaZaa and saw that both programs were downloading from the same source, so to critics who say you get less results etc. ......thats hogwash.

Oh, you mean that p2p that is built off spyware, and if you clean the spyware, the program ceases to function?

 

pro has no spyware or adware thats just on freeware version
