bittorrent/firewall/port forwarding/p2p

    Ok i have been reading about port forwarding for ports 6881 to 6889 so there is better exchange and so pcs can talk better and answer to exchange file and a lot of tech stuff.

    Is this safe?

    And i am behind a Zone Alarm firewall so how do i configuer the ports to the firewall.

    windows xp home version 5.1.2606
    i have my ip address and default gateway

    Should i ? should i not? if so how
