I recently started downloading video files via bittorrent (legal ones). The first few went fine... but now, every one of them it seems only plays the audio and I get no picture. Not sure what happened but it is really annoying. I use mostly quintessential and sometimes windows media player for the playback. I am running a windows xp service pack 2 machine.
Any Idea how I can get the picture back to my video downloads?

Maybe it's a codec problem. I'd probably drag and drop the video file into G-spot and see if there is a valid codec that renders the video properly.
G-spot can also identify what codec(s) you might need to render a file.

Ok cool. What is G-spot? Is that a separate program that I can download from this site?

Try VLC player. It plays most everything, even more obscure formats like Matroska and OGM.
