black and white windows

    I have a video card issue. My computer gets color as it is booting but not when in windows (98). It also gets color in safe mode. Any ideas?

    Welcome to MG. :)

    You need to reload your graphics driver. Safe mode is just using a standard VGA mode (16 colours) as it is during boot-up. It then switches to run the driver installed. It sounds as though yours has had a bit of a hic-cup.
