Black Screen Of Death - Any Help Will Be Greatly Appreciated

Hello to the experts,

I have a dell precision 3640 (desktop) with 32 GB memory and 3 HD (2 X 2 TB ssd + 1 x 8tb WD).

My screen is Samsung U32J59x. I'm using windows 10.

Need more information.

When does the screen go dark? Have you checked cables? Tried a different monitor? Are fans still spinning?

1. While browsing in the web or opening new pages (no problematic websites, just news, amazon, online games, ebay, warhammer).
2. The cables are fine (no problems in this department).
3. Yes. It's a new computer.

 

Well, didn't ask that but good to know. For sure, you don't want to do anything that voids the warranty.

I did ask if you tried a different monitor. That will tell if the problem is in the monitor, or the computer.
