Blacklight rootkit program problem

Has anyone ran across this problem?

When I run Blacklight beta, it fails to scan and gets this error:

The scan was not completed due to an error.

I have my services configured to "safe" settings per Blackviper's website.

Windows xp pro
dual amd mp2600
2gb memory
pestpatrol
norton antivirus
spybot s&d
adaware
spyware blaster
cwshredder
zonealarm
system safety monitor
I keep active x and downloads turned off at all times
I use firefox for any website I don't trust
All scans come up clean including hijack this which is
why I am posting this in software.
