blank screen after xp loading, help!

    right after the xp loading screen, my screen seems to turn itself off.
    i am able to access via safe mode, or vga mode, but not in the regular xp mode. please help!

    when you get into safe mode, remove the display driver in device manager.
    reboot, windows should reload properly

    I second that. I had the exact same problem, and that was how I "fixed" it. Of coarse, after disabling the driver.... I couldn't get the newly downloaded display driver to work, either. I ended up having to send my computer to the computer doctor so that he can try to fix the problem (which I suspect is a fried monitor, but I'll let the "professionals" decide for sure....)
