    Hey!

Did you do anything different recently to your computer? Did you happen to download any of those security links that I e-mailed you? All links worked for me, however the whatkindofworlddoyouwant link was slow (was last night too, but did eventually load up).

    Here's your emoticon, lol

You could always try a "system restore", to set your computer back to a previous date, but I'm sure someone here can help you find exactly why this is happening and to fix it correctly.
    Insert crossing fingers emoticon here.

Thanks...I think I've bot most of it cleared up....It seems I may have inadvertently downloaded some ad toolbar....It didn't look right in the list of programs under the control panel, so I uninstalled it....not sure how I got it exactly, but once I removed it, MOST things are back to normal.....I still can't view the videos and I got some kind of message saying I am missing a file from QuickTime, so I uninstalled QuickTime and re-installed it, but still no videos....says I have to install some active-x, which I tried to do, but it just keeps telling me to install over and over and over again.....any other ideas??? And Thanks for the emoticon....I couldn't even see that the first time I checked for replies on here, but I can see it now, so guess i'm moving in the right direction!!!!

Whatever problems still exist affects pictures/logos that come on newsletters as well.....for example I get notices from the local library to tell me when a book was in....I used to be able to see the logo, but now all I get is a box with a red X in it.........Any ideas yet????? Still can't view any of the videos at www.about.com either.......
