blinkx beat removal

it is that ive tried recently to download Skype and instead of that a program that issues me viral videos every 5 or 10 mins has downloaded how can i get rid of it ive deleted many a labeled documents with the name blinkx beat however the viral video uploads keep breaking through how do i dissolve this problem completely?

I have an ASUS U80V notebook, running Windows 7 Home Premium. Duo CPU, 64 bit, Internal Memory (Ram) 4 GB.

 

Um yes i tried to download Skype which did not download instead the Blinkx beat thing showed up and its a viral video site that pops up at random and yes i did go to the control panel and remove all i saw shone of the blinkxbeat thing however it still pops up randomely every 5mins or so when i access the net

 

I've used Blinkx Beat for a while and definitely don't consider it malware - it's actually very lightweight. I suspect either you accidentally installed it, or rather someone in the household installed it earlier.

The important thing to note is that the program comes in two parts - a program, and a screensaver. The first thing I would check is whether it's set as your current screensaver, and if the screensaver period is set to just a few minutes.

I have Vista. Tried to uninstall the blikx beat program but keep on getting a message someone is trying to get to my computer so I canceled it. please help me. I also tried the link given and did not work. any word of wisdom how to remove this program? Thanks
