blog can't be accessed

Hi, newbie here. My problem is that my blog is becoming increasingly difficult to access. It doesn't matter where you are or what browser you are using. You just get some version of "Safari cannot connect to the server" or "Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network."

It started as a small problem that only happened every so often. Now I can't get into my site at all--and neither can anyone else!

What can a relative newbie like me do?

Based on the whois info for your domain, you share that IP address with 99,008 other websites. That could be the problem especially if your using something like Wordpress or some other Content Management System. Your probably sharing the same SQL database server with all or most of the same sites.

 

But I don't think any of those other web sites are having this problem.... In any case, what do I do now????

 

Why do you think the other 99,000 are not having any trouble? Have contacted them?

On over burdened web servers, simple html sites run fine, it's the ones that draw from a database that lag severely.

I visited your "blog" and it seems to be a really simple webpage such as those who's domain name expires and someone else bought it just to resell it. It doesn't appear to be a blog at all.

As far as what to do now, You should contact your hosting company or who ever is responsible for renewing the domain name and make sure it was done, I suspect it was not.
