Blonde girl thicko alert

I have no idea what I have downloaded or done but I took my lap top to USA it worked fine and when I got back to UK the following things have occurred

1. AOL - I can not open emails sometimes when they do the programme closes with a mesage

2. all my photos - have a landscape picture and to see them I have to click on each one to open it to see what it is


3. My Camera - I plug in my camera to down load my photos and it no longer works


4. My tool bar has changed and the way my layout is on my pc has changed


Sorry but I have no idea what I have done.

ok my tool bar is ok now

But my camera will not connect to my toshiba L650

mYstored photos I can see them now that was my fault fiddling around

aol is not working it comes up with a message do you need me to post the message?

Which version of Windows, XP, Vista or Win7, would be a help.

Also, the error message may help if you told us what it says and when, exactly does it appear. What are you trying to do when it shows?

Windows 7 laptop is 8 months old

I go on AOL when I click to open my email it says

Internet explorer has stopped working

it then freezes the page and closes down stating its closing down as there is a problem that has been detected

sometimes not on aol but sometimes I am on sites and it stops working telling me that its closing down to protect the computer

 

I'm going to toss in another question: On the flight from the US to the UK, was the computer in your carry-on bag (overhead bin or under the seat)?

If it was checked baggage, it's quite possible a TSA screener in the checked bag area went beyond the security basics and was (illegally) playing with the PC.

If this was the case, running System Restore back to your last day in the States should reset everything back to normal.
